[01]Overview
Signal OS is a concept for an executive command center that transforms raw operational data into clear, actionable intelligence. The system connects disparate data sources, applies intelligent filtering and analysis, and presents insights through a dashboard designed for fast decision-making.
[02]Challenge
Leadership teams make decisions based on fragmented data scattered across spreadsheets, dashboards, and reports. The delay between data collection and insight delivery means decisions are often based on stale information.
[03]Strategy
Build a real-time data aggregation layer that pulls from multiple sources, applies intelligent analysis, and surfaces the most relevant signals through an executive-grade dashboard. Automated alerts ensure critical changes are never missed.
[04]Development
Next.js for the dashboard interface with server-side rendering for performance. PostgreSQL for structured analytics data, Redis for real-time streams, and TypeScript throughout for type safety.
[05]Technology
[06]Architecture
Event-sourced architecture with real-time data pipelines. PostgreSQL stores aggregated metrics, Redis handles real-time streaming, and a rules engine processes alerts and automations. The dashboard renders server-side for performance.
