[01]Overview
OrbitLabs AI is a concept platform designed to transform how teams conduct research and make decisions. The system orchestrates multiple AI agents that collaborate on research tasks, synthesizing findings into structured, actionable outputs. Built around a command-center interface, it provides real-time visibility into agent workflows, research progress, and decision pipelines.
[02]Challenge
Research teams spend more time organizing information than analyzing it. Fragmented data across documents, databases, and web sources creates bottlenecks that slow decision-making to a crawl.
[03]Strategy
Design a multi-agent orchestration system where specialized AI agents handle research collection, synthesis, and structuring. The command center provides real-time visibility while maintaining human oversight at critical decision points.
[04]Development
Built with Next.js for the interface layer, leveraging React Server Components for optimal performance. The AI SDK powers agent orchestration, with TypeScript providing end-to-end type safety across the entire stack.
[05]Technology
[06]Architecture
The system uses a microservices architecture with an AI orchestration layer at its core. Each agent runs in isolation with defined capabilities and access controls. A PostgreSQL backend stores research state, while Redis handles real-time agent communication.
